WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Ages 5-14. A current EcoRobotik membership is required to enroll.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
February 23, 2025 for ages 8-14
March 16, 2025 for ages 5-7
OBJECTIVE
- Ages 8-14: Over 8 weeks, students will design, build, and program a robot that can sort objects faster and smarter than the competition.
- Ages 5-7: Over 4 weeks, students will program their Ozobot to move through a course, dodge obstacles, and master the art of smart movement.
HOW IT WORKS
- Ages 8-14: Level 1 members will begin designing their robot during their regularly scheduled class by the week of February 24th. They will continue to build their robot each week leading up to the competition event on April 12th.
- Ages 5-7: Age 5-7 members will begin their Ozobot project during their regularly scheduled class the week of March 17th. They will continue to program and test their Ozobot each week leading up to the competition event on April 12th.
COMPETITION FEES
- Ages 8-14: $150 ($50 is refundable if you decide to rent your robot — see below for details)
- Ages 5-7: $50
KEEP OR RENT YOUR BOT (AGES 8-14 ONLY)
You may decide to rent the robot materials or keep/purchase the robot after the competition. If you’d like to keep your bot, the total competition fee will remain at $150. If you’d like to rent and return the robot, you’ll be refunded $50 after the competition.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to be a member for my child to compete in the Super Sorters event?
If your age 5-7 child is not yet enrolled in a membership at our Learning Center and wants to compete, please choose your weekly class and enroll in a membership ($149) no later than March 16th. You can then register for the competition separately.
If my child isn’t participating in the competition, what will they do during the weekly classes leading up to the event?
