Our Curriculum
Designed by educators to ignite curiosity, build 21st century skills, and inspire real-world connections.
Innovative STEAM Experiences
Using diverse approaches that boost learner engagement, EcoRobotik’s Coaches have guided over 2,500 students in STEAM classes and competitions
1.
Project-based learning
No long lectures or pages of note-taking! In Project-Based Learning (PBL), students actively gain knowledge and skills by working together to solve an authentic, real-world problem.
Project-Based Learning helps students:
Spark curiosity and generate questions
Build teamwork, communication, and other 21st century skills
Reflect and make revisions to solve a challenge
2.
Design thinking
Unlike PBL, Design Thinking asks students to define the real-world problem instead of the instructor. Students move through five non-linear stages where they’ll research, prototype, and test potential solutions while identifying alternative strategies.
Design Thinking helps students:
Adapt and respond to new and difficult challenges
Create innovative solutions with greater confidence
Empathize with the needs of others
3.
Gamification
Know someone who loves video games? Gamification uses elements of game design in the classroom that make learning more fun. Think points, timers, leaderboards, and rewards!
Gamification helps students:
Increase motivation
Improve focus
Retain more of what they learn
